Our Fees

Terms and Conditions of Payment

Our courses can be taken by UK/EU residents. We, sometimes, take student visitors on language or short courses. Student visitors, other than those supported by Organisations, Government Bodies, Overseas Agencies, Research Councils, etc. will be personally responsible for the payment of tuition fees For UK and EU students, it is a condition of enrolment that tuition and any registration fees are paid in full at the time of enrolment (please note that the College does not enrol Tier 4 full time overseas students).

Tuition fees do not normally include additional costs that may be incurred prior to or during the continuance of your course, e.g. Application Handling fee, Exemption fee, Initial Registration fee and Examination fees (all payable to the University or other awarding body). Besides the fees payable to the University or other Awarding body, students are advised to budget for the cost of purchasing textbooks, which are estimated to cost about £300.00 per year.

Fees are fixed annually and are effective from 1st of September. Fees are liable to alteration from year to year without prior notice and there is no guarantee that a given fee level will be maintained throughout a course.

Fees paid to Borough College London are not refundable, once a student has commenced a course.

With regard to student visitor applicants, only a deposit of £1000.00 will be required at the time of enrolment. The balance must be paid once a student arrives in the United Kingdom and prior to commencement of studies with Borough College London. Please note that should a student visitor visa be refused, the sum of £250.00 will be retained out of the deposit to cover our administration costs, whilst the balance will be refunded.

Student visitors must note that it is their responsibility to ensure that they satisfy visa requirements that will enable them enter the United Kingdom as a student visitor. BCL offers assistance and counselling to prospective overseas student visitors prior to applying for student visitor visas. This service is included in the administration costs.

BCL will not accept liability where a prospective student follows its advice and fails to secure a student visitor visa to enter the United Kingdom.

In instances where a prospective student visitor has been refused entry clearance to enter the United Kingdom and wishes to pursue an appeal against the decision (if appropriate), BCL will be prepared to undertake the appeal (through its Solicitors) on behalf of the student visitor for a fee of £500.00.
